Passengers left over $34,000 at screening checkpoints at DFW in FY2021. In total, $34,016.06 in coins and cash, both U.S. and foreign, was left in grey tubs at checkpoints across DFW's five terminal from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021. DFW had the sixth highest total in the U.S.

New York Kennedy, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, and Chicago O'Hare had the highest totals in FY2021. Since FY2012, a staggering $318,925.14 has been left by passengers at DFW.
