DFW Airport Shutters Sunglass Hat in Terminal A

DFW Airport has ordered the Sunglass Hut near gate A24 to permanently close, as that spot is needed for a future employee portal. (An employee portal is where badged employees can access the secured side of the airport.) The company that operates the Sunglass Hut will be given $45,895.89 for their troubles as “reasonable damages” for having their lease terminated. There is no word when construction will begin on the employee portal.
