Scorching Temperatures to Persist Into Next Week

Scorching temperatures will persist long into next week in the DFW Metroplex. DFW has now seen 21 days with highs over 100°, including today's high of 105°. Several forecasts have the next three days at 108° or higher, including a 111° banger on Tuesday. Thursday through the following Tuesday are all set to be 103° or higher.

Stay hydrated out there and drink LOTS of water. Remember the airline folks working the ramp, where the temperature with all the concrete and metal blazing around will feel closer to 125° or even 130°.
