Spirit Airlines Posts Horrendous August 2021 Complaint Totals

Spirit Airlines far and away led the aviation industry in passenger complaints in August 2021, with the carrier seeing 75.1 formal consumer complaints per 100,000 passengers for the month. To contrast this, the industry average was 6 per 100,000 passengers. 

Locally, Southwest Airlines saw 1.24 complaints per 100,000 passengers and American Airlines garnered 4.95 per 100,000.
