TSA Catches Nearly 6,000 Guns in Carry-on Bags in 2021

TSA screeners found 5,972 guns in passenger's carry-on bags in 2021, a new record and 35 percent more than pre-pandemic 2019. 86 percent of those firearms were loaded. Every year since 2008 has set a new annual record.
