DFW Airport Hosts Over 64.4 Million Passengers in 2021

Over 64.4 million passengers took flights to/from or through DFW in 2021, with the airport officially notching 64,465,756 passengers last year. Foreign flagged carriers notched a bit under a million of those, with 922,300 passengers. To the surprise of nobody, American Airlines and its associated regional carriers accounted for 86.89 percent of all passenger traffic at DFW in 2021. International flights were 9.8 percent of all.

DFW's high water mark came in 2019, the last year prior to the pandemic, in which a record 75,066,956 passengers traveled to/from or through DFW. So while DFW has not completely recovered its pre-pandemic numbers, 2021 was at 85.9 percent of the previous record year.
